Blair is still denying that Government pressured the RCMP.

Finally a member of the NDP Alistair MacGregor has also stepped up in the House of Commons asking the Liberals to cooperate with the investigation.

Bill Blair repeatedly denies any involvement or influence in the investigation. Bill Blair went so far as to say that “there was no promise” contrary to what RCMP commissioner Lucki has stated. RCMP Commissioner Brenda Lucki said that she made a promise to the Minister of Public Safety, and the Prime Minister’s Office, that she would release information on the April 18th-19th shootings.

Somebody is not telling the truth, is it the RCMP, is it the Liberals or both?

If you thought that it was only the Conservatives accusing the Liberal Marco Mendicino of lying when it comes to invoking the Emergencies Act think again.  The leader of the Bloc Quebecois Yves-François Blanchet also accuses Marco Mendicino of citing falsehoods to invoke the Emergencies Act.

Facing multiple questions, Blair came to the defense of Commissioner Brenda Lucki, who is at the center of the controversy, which has generated calls for emergency parliamentary hearings.

“There was no pressure brought to bear and no interference with the operational decisions of the RCMP,” Blair told reporters on Wednesday. “I made no effort to pressure the RCMP to interfere in any way with their investigation. I gave no direction as to what information they should communicate. Those are operational decisions of the RCMP. And I respect that and I have respected that throughout.”

Candice Bergen Presses the Liberals To Tell The Truth About Nova Scotia Mass Shooting Investigation

Conservatives repeatedly were seeking the truth in the House of Commons, but Bill Blair denies any Federal interference into Nova Scotia mass shooting investigation.

The use of the phrase gateway is an important one here. That’s because Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his ministers will tell you this bill has nothing to do with censoring the Internet.

Is it user generated content covered under the act or not?

YouTubers and other influencers are taking to social media to express their dismay over the Liberal government passing its online censorship law, Bill C-11.

The coalition of creators on YouTube who have arisen to oppose Bill C-11 is truly remarkable. People from the left right and center, supporters of every political party. The consistent theme has been “we don’t want this and no one asked us if we did.”

It was always obvious that the discoverability rules in Bill C-11 would require algorithmic manipulation. That’s why Canadian digital creators were so concerned about the bill. Despite Pablo Rodriguez denials, the CRTC chair confirmed it. And Heritage officials confirm that no other country in the world regulates user content and social media like Bill C-11. Claims it’s about fairness, but reality is other countries have recognized inappropriate to regulate non-curated services in this way

“There remains more questions than answers about Bill C 11. Is it user generated content covered under the act or not? Does the wording of the bill allow for platforms to censor or not?”

The Liberals face a summer of discontent.
Conservatives call Trudeau a disaster.

With headlines like these and trending hashtag’s like this: #TrudeauMustGo, have we seen the end of Trudeau?

Between Covid, vaccine mandates, Canada’s inflation, NDP-Liberal collision, invocation of the Emergencies Act, high gas prices, gun policies, WEF, internet censoring and passport delays to name a few, confidence and trust in the Trudeau Government is at a low.

Candice Bergen calls out: The Liberals are a disaster they can’t get anything right.

“You know it everything these liberals touches a disaster”

Conservatives: It’s Time to End this Spiral of Chaotic Liberal Incompetence.

“who will have the courage to stand up the Prime Minister.”

According to the federal government, a fraction of the passports that are normally filed in a year were filed over two years of COVID-19, so during the pandemic, passport staff were given other work. Now, Service Canada is trying to shift that workload elsewhere, hire more staff and open more access points, but has no idea when the backlogs will be resolved.

So what’s behind all of the passport delays?

According to Blacklock’s Reporter many of Service Canada’s employees are still working from home:
“Of 26,136 Service Canada’s employees that handles passport applications, a total 18,362 are working from home.”

Passport offices have been experiencing staffing shortages.

According to Blacklock’s Reporter the agency that runs passport offices suspended hundreds of staff under vaccinate mandates.

Passport Delays Are So Bad The Provincial Police are Having to Clean Up The Liberal Federal Government’s Mess

Passport Delays Are So Bad Even the Bloc are Expressing Their Concern to the Liberals in the HOC. The Federal fiasco is becoming dangerous. At this point, the police have had to intervene in lineups at passport offices, and they’re not just managing people’s anger. They’re answering questions on behalf of federal employees.

“The Federal fiasco is becoming dangerous. At this point, the police have had to intervene in lineups at passport offices.”

“To get a passport, people have to bring their tent and spend the night on the sidewalk that’s happening here in Canada, a G7 country.”

Citizens spent the weekend seeing for themselves that no one from the federal government was there at work to help.

“Citizens I camped out all weekend in front of Service Canada offices to try to get a passport. In spite of the wind and the rain, they stayed outside all weekend trying to access this service.”

As many Canadians look to travel abroad, some passport seekers say they’ve been forced to camp outside service centers or reschedule trips because of the bureaucratic bottleneck.

Other travelers complain that Passport Canada online application status tracker is not working and no one is answering passport Canada phone number.

Service Canada announced it had hired 600 new employees to help with processing passport applications, had opened more dedicated passport intake counters in Service Canada locations, had created more processing hubs, and had introduced a new workload management system and processing technology to increase efficiency.

Service Canada continues to hire and train more employees, including the integration of up to 600 new employees over the course of the year and the reassignment of up to 600 employees to passport service delivery.

Minister Karina Gould said “We understand that this situation is difficult and stressful. … The minister has directed officials to work as hard as possible to meet the demand and to examine operations to ensure they’re doing everything they can,”

Canadians continue to have to pay Service Canada for expedited passports, despite the minister assuring this house, that this wouldn’t be the case, half the time they’re not even getting the enhanced service they’re being forced to pay for this directive first came out weeks ago. And yet it’s still not being implemented.

Borders Call on Trudeau to Drop ArriveCan App to Stop Pushing Tourists Away https://canadianriley.com/borders-call-on-trudeau-to-drop-arrivecan-app-to-stop-pushing-tourists-away/ https://canadianriley.com/borders-call-on-trudeau-to-drop-arrivecan-app-to-stop-pushing-tourists-away/?noamp=mobile#respond Sat, 18 Jun 2022 03:00:22 +0000 https://canadianriley.com/?p=648 Starting on June 20, domestic and outbound international travellers no longer have to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to enter Canada. However, inbound travellers will still need to enter their health information, quarantine plan and proof of vaccination through the ArriveCAN app.

The ArriveCAN app was introduced during the pandemic to allow travellers to report their trips and vaccination status and COVID-19-related health information before arriving in Canada.

The calls to drop the app come a day after the federal government announced that it is easing a number of restrictions introduced during the pandemic. It did not announce it was eliminating the ArriveCAN app.

A group of mayors and businesses in communities along the Canada-U.S. border is calling on the federal government to end the ArriveCAN app, saying it is discouraging Americans from visiting and shopping in Canada.

Canadian and American border cities, urged that keeping the ArriveCAN app will have a “long lasting” impact on the country’s tourism sector.

What’s happening right now is Americans are showing up in the minivan with their family at the border with no knowledge of the ArriveCAN app. There’s a lineup of cars behind them. They can’t get into the country.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Transport Minister Omar Alghabra gave no indication that the federal government is considering scrapping the ArriveCan app for travellers.

The arrive can app is increasingly unnecessary, and it’s hopelessly broken.

“People tried to contact the CBSA to fix the issue that CBSA told them that they didn’t offer support relating to reentering Canada.  The arrive can app is increasingly unnecessary, and it’s hopelessly broken.”
