B.C. Activist Group Opposed to Old Growth Logging Says it Spray-Painted Vancouver Landmarks

An activist group opposed to old growth logging in B.C. says it has been spray-painting Vancouver tourist attractions and landmarks as an act of civil disobedience.

The Save Old Growth group said targets have included the Gastown steam clock, artist Douglas Coupland’s Digital Orca sculpture, the Olympic torch, Science World and the CBC’s offices.

The group, which distributed a photo of the steam clock covered with slogans, said it painted the messages as a reminder of what it called the B.C. government’s “broken promises” on logging.

Constable Tania Visintin said in a statement that Vancouver police are “investigating the mischief to the steam clock.”

Save Old Growth said its actions coincided with Overshoot Day, which is designed to mark the date when humanity has used up all biological resources the planet is capable of regenerating each year.

A blockade put up by activists who say they are fighting to save old growth forests on Vancouver Island will be allowed to continue for another three weeks.

The group was previously behind road blockades, but said at the end of June it would “de-escalate” such actions and instead turn to other tactics.

Those road blockades saw dozens of people arrested and triggered major traffic disruptions in Vancouver and elsewhere.

A 20-year-old black male, suspect Andrew “Tekle” Sundberg, fired bullets into the Minneapolis home of single mother Arabella Yarbrough and her two children both under 5 years of age.

“Arabella Yarbrough says she thought she and her 2 kids were going to die that night, after she says Tekle Sundberg fired these shots through her apartment. Yarbrough says she called police.

After approximately 6 hours of attempted negotiations, an officer-involved shooting occurred resulting in life-threatening injuries to the man. According to police documents, police snipers fatally shot Sundberg from a roof of an apartment building across the street. Suspect Andrew “Tekle” Sundberg, was transported to Hennepin Healthcare where he later died.

A black man attempted to shoot this single mother in her home with her kids in the apartment.

She called the police and the shooter got shot and killed by police.

Violent armed suspect Andrew “Tekle” Sundberg was fatally shot by Minneapolis police after a 6 hour standoff. The death of Andrew Sundberg sparked outrage among Black Lives Matter activists, and protests erupted outside the apartment building as a result.

Single mother, the victim Arabella Yarbrough in the active shooter situation at a Minneapolis apartment building, was furious to find Black Lives Matter activists protesting outside her apartment building, and shouted at them to go home.

Shooter Andrew Tekle Sundberg parents are telling media that the police didn't allow any communication with their son.

However, a citizen provided video where Mark Sundberg is speaking on a PA to his son.

Tamara Lich to Remain in Jail While Awaiting Bail Review Set for 25 of July

A bail review will be held on July 25 for Freedom Convoy organizer Tamara Lich who is awaiting trial in an Ontario court on allegations of breaching her bail terms, her lawyer said.

Lich was originally scheduled to appear for trial at the Ontario court today over allegations of having breached her bail terms set previously, after being denied bail in her last court appearance on July 8.

The bail review for Lich’s case was scheduled at the Ontario Superior Court at the earliest available date, according to defence lawyer Eric Granger, who appeared briefly via teleconference before the Ontario Court of Justice on July 14.

Her case in the Ontario Court of Justice is adjourned until after the bail review until at least July 25.

On June 27, after attending an award ceremony in Toronto, Lich was rearrested in her hometown of Medicine Hat, Alberta, under a Canada-wide warrant, and was transferred back to Ottawa to attend a bail hearing.

Tamara is purportedly being held in detention due to a breach of her bail conditions, stemming from a photo she took at award ceremony in Toronto with another key figure from the Freedom Convoy named Tom Marazzo.

Protesters assemble outside the Supreme Court, took to the streets in large cities and gathered in town parks to protest a historic ruling from the high court that ended the constitutional right to abortion.

An crowd of hundreds carried signs and chanted “My body, my choice” at the steps of the Supreme Court as protesters grappled with news that the landmark Roe v. Wade decision was struck down.

Similar protests took over streets in other cities, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle and New York City.

Amid the protests included some anti-abortion activists where sparring occurred between protesters.

Tom Quiggin worked within Freedom Convoy 2022 in an intelligence capability. A Fifth-Generation style information war was launched by the Government of Canada against the Freedom Convoy 2022 before it had even reached Ottawa. This campaign was active throughout the presence of the convoy in Ottawa and continued after it was violently dispersed.

The mainstream media played its compliant role. The CBC, for instance, twice created ‘evidence free’ stories about how the Russians/Putin were behind the convoy’s organization. Then it was ‘American money’ and claims that terrorist money was involved.

The willful lies about the Convoy were perpetrated by the Prime Minister, various Ministers of the Crown, Senators, Members of Parliament, Chiefs of Police, and reporters. While mistakes are possible in the ‘fog of war,’ the most serious lies continued well after the facts had been established. In others word, the lies were to support a campaign of deceit.

Among the false stories were loaded shot guns in the trucks, an attempted arson, the presence of terrorists in the convoy, anti-Semitic literature at the events, threats of rape, foreign trade economic losses, the desecration of the War Memorial and accusations that certain Members of Parliament were human slime. Among the most ridiculous accusations made in the Senate by a former RCMP Commissioner was that anarchists were running the convoy.

Tom Quiggin (MA,CD) worked within the Convoy in an intelligence capacity. Based on his previous 30 years of intelligence experience with the Canadian Forces, the Privy Council Office, the RCMP, and others, he worked to create protective intelligence for the convoy, first responders and the citizens in Ottawa. He is a court expert on intelligence collection and reliability in the Federal Court of Canada as well as being a court expert in terrorism in both criminal court and in the Federal Court. Ottawa Plans Significant Police Presence and Road Closures For Canada Day Celebrations And Protests

With several freedom demonstrations planned for this year’s Canada Day in Ottawa, Ottawa police are gearing up and say they will have an “unprecedented” response. Police acknowledged they’ve been fielding questions about planned protests and accompanying online commentary and say they’re readying accordingly.

“An Ottawa police officer says this Canada Day will be “unprecedented and unique” with a never-before-seen security posture as the main events take place off Parliament Hill, and protests are planned throughout the day.”

“Police are aware of the demonstrations and are “planning accordingly,” said the officer.”

City police expect a bigger than usual Canada Day celebration plus an uptick in protests and demonstration, prompting a plan for a “major” boost in officers’ numbers with backup from several other police forces and significant road closures.
