On the 40th anniversary of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms Trudeau tweets about the importance of upholding our rights, when actually in secret he said that he knows that he is attacking them and that he is going to do it anyway.
Trudeau April 17, 2022: “On behalf of the Government of Canada, I invite all Canadians to continue upholding our collective responsibility to the words enshrined in the Charter that protect our fundamental rights and freedoms, as we work to build a better future for everyone.”
Trudeau has previously been recorded saying that “Regardless of the fact that we are attacking your fundamental rights or limiting your fundamental rights, and the charter says wrong, we’re still going to go ahead and do with it. It’s basically a loophole that allows a majority to override fundamental rights of a minority.”
